대안적 산업발전 경로에 대한 모색: 덴마크와 핀란드 사례의 시사점을 중심으로

초록

This paper attempts to explore the Danish and Finish cases often referred to as success stories of the Scandinavian economies since the 1990s and then reflects on some necessary conditions for creating alternative industrial development paths, i.e. endogenous and inclusive economy in Korea. To this end, first of all, a critical review has been undertaken regarding two industrial development strategies which have recently been proposed by the current government and then some implications have been drawn. Second, the Danish and Finnish industrial development paths since the 1990s, often benchmarked as the model of innovation driven economic growth and powerful but small open economies, have been analyzed, mainly drawing upon the industrial and innovation strategies performed. Finally, some reflections and suggestions have been made concerning creating alternative industrial paths in Korea, focusing upon some issues of industrial diversity and negotiated economies.
