Effect of wiggler harmonics in a free-electron laser oscillator

We have analyzed multi-wiggler harmonics in a free-electron laser oscillator with a single laser harmonic. The wiggler magnetic field is expanded into first and higher harmonics, and the radiation field is decomposed into higher order modes. Comparative studies of the radiation output, and of the phase and energy of the first and higher wiggler harmonics that were done using a 3D FEL code that we have developed are presented.
