초록

The purpose of this study is to consider influences between Kim Soo Young and Park Inn Hwan. Both of them appeared in the literary world in 1940'; in a state of confusion after Restoration. In 1945 Kim Soo Young published his first poem, and the next year Park Inn Hwan began his writing life as a poet. They each had a strong sense of rivalry. Park Inn Hwan's characteristic pessimistic poetry was far less fully studied than that of Kim Soo Young. Kim Soo Young's poetry was considered as a spirit of resistance during 1960s and 1970s, still admired as an influential achievement. In spite of their friendship over ten years, Kim Soo Young revealed contempt and complex about Park Inn Hwan in his proses- [Marisusa] and [Park Inn Hwan]. It gave a hint that Park Inn Hwan was the very weak point in Kim Soo Young. A clear understanding of this argument in his writing required a brief examination. There were some evidences that Park Inn Hwan was affected much influence on Kim soo Young's poem. Some poems of Kim Soo Young were very much like those of Park Inn Hwan. The motif beared a clear resemblance. [Street] was the first poem of Park Inn Hwan -it was printed in Daily Guk-Je in december 1946, contained 'woman' and 'marriage' motive. Coincidentally the motive were used in Kim Soo Young's poem and the title was also the same. Though Kim Soo Young's [street] was not a published poem but he always regarded [street] as his first poem. Likewise, Park Inn Hwan was influenced by Kim Soo Young's poetry. There was another curious likeness. [Something problematic] written by Park Inn Hwan was very similar to [American Times] written by Kim Soo Young. It was an important evidence that they had particular relevance to each other.
