The Present Condition of Public Leisure Facility of Ri Region and the Correclation with Population Migration

This study intends to analyze the present condition of public leisure facility on Ri region and the correlation between public leisure facility and population migration. For this purpose, 5 public leisure facility items and 16 gun were selected based on Rural Amenity Survey Results by the rural development administration (RDA). The study results suggest that of the 5 public leisure facility items of 16 gun, village hall(welfare hall) and assembly hall for elderly people are distributed more than rural park(shelter), playground and physical training center. Specifically, the results on household, population and area(㎢) analysis per leisure facility indicated that the each mean of village hall(welfare hall) is 100.2, 239.3, 3.5, assembly hall for elderly people is 212.0, 5eo.3, 6.8, rural park(shelter) is 339.0, 816.1, 11.0, playground is 2,825.1, 7,032.3, 69.0 and physical training center is 2,645.3, 6,421.4, 113.2. In addition, public leisure facility is different from eup and myeon except village hall(welfare hall) using independent t－test, and outdoor facility is also different from eup and myeon. Finally, the pearson's r between public leisure facility and population migration is 0.538～0.325 under significant level 0.01 and regression model is also significant. The results of this study provide insightful information for rural public leisure facility on Ri region and prove to have relation between public leisure facility and population migration.
