A study on the factors that influence oral health status of college students

The present study was conducted on 286 college students from a single college in “K” region of Korea, and the objective of the study was to examine actual state of oral health care and oral health status, from which to identify factors that influence oral health status. It was shown that the use of oral hygiene accessories (β=1.294) (p<.005), completion of education on the use of oral hygiene accessories (β=1.292) (p<.005), and willing to participate in oral health education (β=1.278) (p<.005) were the factors that had positive influences on oral health status. © Research India Publications.
