A Study on Greenhouse Smart Farm System Based on Wireless Sensor

Korea's agriculture is in a difficult situation due to poor farming conditions and increased imports of agricultural products. Strengthening competitiveness such as productivity improvement is strongly required. Both the government and the private sector are promoting smart farms to enhance agricultural competitiveness. In this paper, we propose a greenhouse smart farm system based on wireless sensor. This is a sensor-based standalone method, which is a technology that virtualizes various devices such as sensors, controllers, and operating PCs installed in a greenhouse in a smart farm in the form of services. The smart sensor based Smart Farm service adopts only the functions required from the user's point of view in the form of services. And because it adopts low power wireless sensor technology, power cost can be drastically reduced, and it is easy to install and manage.
