초록
This study focused on motivation, constraints and safari leisure skills. The purposes of this study are: (1) to gainbetter understanding about the personal skill that motivate or constraints participation; (2) to provide empiricalevidence about the tourist's participation in ecological based safari leisure activities in Sunderban. The data wascollected on a personal visit from Sunderban, Bangladesh. Factor analysis, and t-test for individual, group weretested using statical program SPSS 20. Analysis of data revealed that foreign tourist faced intrapersonal constraints toparticipate in safari activities in underdeveloped countries. When the groups were compared, t-tests analysis resultrevealed significantly higher intrapersonal constraints. Further, an individual t-test based on gender factor showedhigher man's leisure skill than the average women. However, the results did not fully support the constructedliterature model. Safari destination in developing countries should focus on the role of infrastructure in relation to thesafety. Government should work consistently on developing more favorable environment for attracting moreforeigners, inexperienced and female participants.
