초록
In the context of the Government’s plans of agricultural integration, the tea industry in Southern China is an accurately representative cash crop that has been chosen for the research subject. The purpose of this study is to identify how the transitional process between the tea growers and tea enterprises involved the processing and distribution of tea leaves in integration. The area of Xinyang in Henan Province has been chosen as the study site due to its significance as a major producing area of Xinyang Maojian Tea, also known as Xinyang Tea. It ranks amongst the top 10 teas in China and will be analysed in terms of the willingness of tea firms to participate in the integration (PariInteg) through derivation of its probability using logistic regression analysis. The empirical result shows that the tea firm’s willingness to join in the integration is influenced by the firm’s own characteristics such as age and size of asset base. They are also influenced by the willingness to cooperate of tea farmers and enterprises, their cooperation capacity, organizational strength, and organizational efficiency. On account of these factors, recommended, therefore, is that the positive influencing factors of tea firms’ PariInteg should be fully considered in further China’s tea policies.
