Development and validation of the inpatients satisfaction scale for korean military health care services

The purpose of this study was to develop the satisfaction scale to health care services in a Korea military health care organization. The content validity indexes (CVI) were 0.78~1.0 content validity index for items (I-CVI) and 0.98 content validity index for scales (S-CVI) each. The Korean military Satisfaction Tool to Health Care Services finally consisted of 54 items for inpatients. Study subjects of the construct validity test were 224 inpatients who were admitted at Armed Forces hospitals from 25th October 2015 through 2nd February 2016. The data were examined by factor analysis with SPSS. The items of the Satisfaction Tools for inpatients were categorized into five factors with Eigen value greater than 1.0. The internal consistency reliability with five factors ranged from 0.77 to 0.91 for inpatients. © Rushing Water Publishers Ltd. 2019.
