The use of stone net reinforcement materials, which can replace conventional concrete structures and blocks, is gradually increasing. However, if the stone net is not properly secured, strong water flow can reduce the friction between the ground and the net, resulting in problems such as embankment sliding or slope failure. To effectively secure the stone net to the riverbed and prevent loss or damage even under strong water flow, a method has been developed that involves inserting fixed anchor pins to secure the stone net into the riverbed and connecting them to the stone net. This study performed a finite element analysis (FEA) using the MIDAS GTS NX program based on the geotechnical properties of a river embankment reinforcement site in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. The analysis investigated the stress-strain behavior of the ground resulting from the pullout of plate anchor pins, leading to the derivation of optimal conditions for the anchor pin length and plate width. The results indicated that anchor pin performance improved with increased length and plate width. Considering economic efficiency, the optimal dimensions were determined.
