지역사회 기반 틀니 사용 노인의 구강건강 관련 삶의 질과 노인전문구강관리 프로그램 효과의 영향 요인분석

초록

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the effects of a professional geriatric oral healthcare program for community-dwelling denture-wearing older adults and to examine how denture-related characteristics and oral health–related quality of life (OHRQoL) influence program outcomes. Methods: Thirty-one older adults attending a welfare center in Gangwon Province received weekly professional oral care for 24 weeks. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26.0, including descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean OHRQoL score was 3.73, and satisfaction and perceived effects exceeded 4.0. Denture fabrication frequency and OHRQoL were positively correlated with program outcomes (r = 0.465, p < 0.01), and both were significant predictors in the regression analyses (p< 0.05). Conclusions: These findings highlight the need for tailored oral healthcare interventions for denture users and provide foundational evidence for community-based geriatric oral health services.
