“智”造真实 — 人工智能生成内容(AIGC)对中国纪录片创作真实性影响的审思

Amidst the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) technology, its impact on documentary creation has transcended mere efficiency enhancement at the instrumental level, triggering profound transformations in creative paradigms and value systems. This study investigates the multidimensional integration of AIGC technology in documentary production, systematically examining its innovative applications across image generation, visual effects production, and narrative optimization. Concurrently, it critically analyzes the core challenges underpinning technological empowerment: the traditional authenticity framework of documentaries, rooted in the “indexicality of reality,” now confronts a dual tension between perceived authenticity and representational authenticity. By employing a social constructivist analytical framework, the research reveals a paradigm shift in documentary creation from “natural authenticity” to “encoded authenticity.” Technical systems—through data training, algorithmic modeling, and generative logic—reconfigure the mechanisms of authenticity construction in documentaries, rendering the creative process an explicit manifestation of socio-cultural encoding. In the era of algorithmically mediated encoded authenticity, the value of documentary authenticity resides not only in the multidimensional capture of social reality but also in the ethical consciousness and reality-oriented intentionality demonstrated by creators during meaning production through technological mediation. This study underscores the necessity of reconciling technological innovation with epistemological and ethical accountability in redefining documentary authenticity within AI-driven creative ecosystems.
