고등학교 체육과 선택중심 교육과정의 필요성에 대한 교사 인식

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigated level of perceptions of teachers regarding the necessity of physical education in the 7th elective-centered curriculum in high school. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted. 206 teachers who were working in 4 high schools located in U city were selected. The results of this study suggested that all of the groups showed high necessity of physical education, but there was not significant difference between groups based on socio-economic variables. Also, all of the groups showed the highest perceptions of physical necessity, socio-psychological necessity and necessity of safety education based on the analysis of level of sub-variables of physical education. Also, there was not high relationship between teacher's interests in health or needs of exercise and past experience.
