A Study on Methods for Guiding Fire Evacuation

Facilities are installed in buildings to prepare for fires that may occur due to human negligence or various factors. In general, when a fire occurs, an alarm sounds and emergency exit lights turn on at the same time to help evacuation. However, when a fire occurs, blackout occur due to various factors, making it difficult for people to quickly evacuate because evacuation routes are not easily identified. To this end, this study proposes a method for rapid evacuation in the event of a fire in a building and a system that applies this method. The fire evacuation system is composed of a fire detection board and boards that can guide the evacuation route. Unlike the existing system, we develop a system that provides an evacuation route using LED(Light Emitting Diode) so that people can quickly prepare while moving away from the point of fire after installing a simple fire detection system in the building.
