문법 교육의 현실에 대한 성찰

초록

I analyzed korean grammar in the curriculum and the textbook of korean language arts. The results of analysis are followings. In the curriculum, korean language arts are divided 6 fields. These are listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and literature. The term ‘grammar’ in the curriculum is improper term. The scope and sequence of 'grammar' is incorrect. We must select the elements in 'grammar' curriculum by concrete criteria. A criteria is 'our most frequency errors in the text'. I suggest what aspects of grammar we might focus on, as we guide our students in becoming more effective communicator. The materials in the textbook of teaching grammar is weak. Teaching grammar in integrated units of textbook between grammar and other fields don't idealize scope of what aspects of grammar may be taught across the years through middle school.
