초록

The crystal of a fluorene-based organic compound, 9,9-diethyl-2-(biphenyl-4-ethynyl)fluorene, was obtained from a dichloromethane/hexane solution and its structure was determined. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system with space group P1. There are two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. Intermolecular C(π)·H interactions are observed between two asymmetric units; their distance are in the range of 2.810 - 3.067 Å. This molecule can be used as a potential organic semiconductor owing to face-to-edge interactions. 2006 © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
